Confessions of a brokenheart.

breaking up is one of the hardest things anyone will ever have to go through.. even if you can be strong & ignore the problem it still hurts really bad... :( It's not fun. I don't think anyone should ever have to go through this.. I am one of those ppl who is very, very forgiving.. I can forgive someone for cheating on me & I can forgive someone for leaving me for someone else, who probably makes them happier than I could anyways... but the one I can't forgive really quickly is when someone asks you if you'll marry them in a few years & then decides to take it back. I don't want to get married anytime soon or get engaged anytime soon. Well I wouldn't mind being engaged but it doesn't mean I want to get married really soon. I don't. I want to finish college & make some money, to grow up... I hope that anyone who is as heartbroken as I am realizes that it's ok & I will always be there for anyone who needs comforting.. anytime at all.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

I believe that everyone is beautiful, even in their own ways. There are a lot of people who aren't beautiful on the inside.. ok ok I'm getting off topic.. My topic for today is going to be self esteem. It's a really big issue and even I am a victim of it.. and not a lot of people know it. Even if a lot of people tell you that you're beautiful it doesn't seem to help... and girls now a days grow up thinking they need to be beautiful, thin, supermodel to even get somewhere in life and that just isn't true..... What makes someone beautiful, in my opinion, is what's on the inside.... If you are an ugly, mean person, then it just makes you ugly on the outside... You can be overweight and obese but it doesn't matter. You don't need to be blonde or have big boobs or a big butt... it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if you have a cleft lip or a crooked eye or messed up teeth or have down syndrome or even just because you are of a certain race!.. Every man and woman is beautiful just the way that God created them! Everybody should have good self esteem and feel good about themselves... even if the writer of this blog (ahem ahem ME) doesn't feel that way. People SHOULDN'T pick on ANYBODY for any reason what so ever... some people don't even realize how much they are hurting someone by calling them names or making fun of them... It hurts and it's just crazy mean. So everyone be nice and love eachother. : ) xoxo

What makes a bff

Every girl needs a bbf. In fact every girl needs the best bff possible. Now this isn't a guide to being one, just a few simple things I think makes a great bff. A good bff shouldn't ever talk about you behind your back.... EVER, about anything or anyone. All secrets shared between you two are just that, secrets! The other thing that peeves me is when a supposed "bff" or even a supposed "friend" talks to your bf behind your back. And I don't mean a simple "hey, what's up". I mean a "hey, let's hang out" or "hey, I have a few extra tickets for something, do you want to go?" NO WAY! And if you're bff is going to do that, they need to ask you first. Now asking is always ok.... And it's not being mean, it's just being courteous. I mean you wouldn't want someone doing that to you behind your back. A bff shouldn't ever talk about you behind your back. I think that's the biggest no no. Being a bff means always being there for someone, at any time. Also, I don't think bff's should use eachother. If your bff pays for a meal, then you should pay for the next one. I think it's really stupid when bff's compete with eachother. Why would you want to do that? Another thing is, don't put your bff down. Also be honest, even if it's like "oh he doesn't like you" or "that dress doesn't look good on you". Honesty is always the best policy. And don't ever lie to eachother. A bff is someone who will always be there for you.... all the time... that's what bff means "Best Friends Forever".. duh. : ) xoxo

Ok this is my first post where I am going to talk about something other than myself. : ) Let's see, let's see. What should be my first topic?? Love? Life? In the news? Hmmm... I know! I think that people should be nicer to everyone.. I don't understand why some people have to be so rude. It's like people have their reasons, but I for one am not ever mean to someone unless they have hurt me, or one my bffs. And I've been known to tell people off or anything like that. But even then that isn't right. It's like being a waitress, when your food is bad don't bitch at the waitress, it isn't her fault. Now if the food looks bad or isn't plated nicely, then you should tell the waitress. It's their job to make sure the food looks nice, I know I always did. (lol even though I was only a waitress for like five months) And now I work in front desk, and let me tell you, the people are meaner to front desk clerks then waitress's and it's a shame. Some people just have no decency in their hearts. Just bc you're having a bad day, please don't take it out on someone else. : ) xoxo

A little bit about me.

For those of you who don't know me, let me introduce myself. My name is Gretchen Emily. I live in beautiful sunny Texas and proud of it. I adore my boyfriend very much, even though we tend to fight. I have two sisters and three brothers. But I'm the only one who lives at my house!!! Hahaha. I'm very girly and silly. I love to have fun and have a good time. Do I have drama? Yes. I do like it? Heck no. Overall I'm a very nice person. My favorite color is pink and I love hearts. I love to text and talk a lottt. Esp. twitter and windows mess. I have two dogs, Lemonade, who is my ultimate sidekick and Copper,who is my baby puppy. I love to dance, and yes I'll admit it. I love to turn up the music and dance in my room. Haha.
